The property has proved ideal for weddings and other celebrations.
Choosing the perfect venue for the most important day of your life can be both challenging and stressful and the headache of securing a romantic reception venue, comfortable and luxurious guest accommodation and an ‘away from it all' honeymoon can often prove quite a feat.

The Olde Rectory provides the perfect solution to all those headaches. Tucked away down a quiet village lane, it offers a completely unique and private wedding venue, luxury accommodation within the grounds for up to 47 selected guests and an Events Director to take care of your every need, making it the picture perfect setting for a dream wedding.

Set in 3.5 acres of private grounds, the elegant Georgian rectory makes the perfect ‘Bride's House' with grand reception rooms and a stunning honeymoon suite including a large, elegant dressing room and sumptuous bathroom in which the bride can prepare for her special day in luxury. The Rectory looks out over elegant lawns, providing the perfect backdrop for the wedding marquee. You may choose to keep The Rectory all to yourselves but it can easily accommodate up to 18 guests in total and in addition, tucked around the corner are the beautifully converted 16th century barns and coach houses offering guest accommodation for up to a further 29 guests.

A marquee seating up to 120 guests sits elegantly on the Rectory lawn and may be dressed, together with the gardens and grounds, to suit any taste or budget. Whether you picture yourself relaxing on hay bales in bunting swaged orchards or something a little more ‘cutting edge' you are free to create the day of your dreams; burning torches, neon signs or twinkling fairy lights, anything is possible!!

Many bride's will recount the fact that their wedding day is the one day about which they want to recall every detail and yet it seems as though it flashes by in just a moment. The Olde Rectory offer two nights exclusive hire for all weddings, allowing you plenty of time to prepare for your special day in style and comfort, the wonderful day itself and a further day to enjoy time relaxing with friends and family, making it a memorable event for everyone.
